Royal Jordanian publishes 270 seats for this aircraft; this map draws 267. Royal Jordanian's own page states 270 seats: 24 Crown Class and 246 Economy. Crown Class divides exactly into four rows of six and is drawn in full. 246 economy seats do not divide into whole rows of nine, and although the page gives the cabin as rows 5 to 37 it gives no taper, so this map draws 27 full rows — 243 seats — and leaves the remaining three off rather than inventing where the 787 tail narrows.

Crown Class is drawn in full and two independent sources agree on it. The Economy figures are Royal Jordanian's own and do not fit together: 33 rows of nine would be 297 seats, fifty more than the 246 it states, so the real cabin must narrow somewhere towards the tail and Royal Jordanian does not draw or describe where. We draw 27 full rows, 243 seats, ending at row 31. Economy seats in rows 32 to 37 are real and this map does not show them; if you are given one, that is why. Royal Jordanian also plans to fit its 787-8s with the newer Crown seat already on its 787-9s, with no start date announced, so this cabin may change.
