Seat reviews and crowd reports
When you submit a seat review or a crowd report (marking a seat as taken on a flight), we store the content you submit plus a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address — never the IP address itself. This hash exists only to limit abuse (spam, repeated fake submissions) and cannot be reversed back into your real IP address. Reviews are held for moderation before they appear publicly; if a review is rejected, its content and hash are deleted.
Cookies and advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense to help fund keeping this site free. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and use similar technology to personalise which ads you see and measure their performance. On your first visit, a consent banner (Google's Funding Choices) lets you accept or decline personalised ads — declining still shows ads, just less targeted ones. We don't control what Google's advertising partners do with data they collect this way; Google's own policies govern that, not this one. Any traffic measurement we run ourselves, separately from ads, remains cookieless and does not track you individually across sites.
What we don't do
We don't sell data ourselves. We don't require any personal detail to use the site's core features — searching a flight, reading a seat map, and getting seat advice all work with nothing collected at all, ads or no ads.
