What we could not settle on this aircraft
IndiGo's own drawing of this aircraft prints no row 17. It numbers the rows 1 to 16, then jumps straight to 18 and runs on to 38 — the space where row 17 would be is taken by the first pair of overwing exits. That is what we have drawn, and it produces IndiGo's own published total of 222 seats exactly. IndiGo's own written description of the same aircraft, however, says "Rows 1, 17, 18 and 27 are XL (Extra legroom) seats" and that "the emergency exits are located next to rows 17 and 18" — a row 17 its own drawing does not show. If you are offered a seat in row 17, or cannot find one, this is why, and it is IndiGo we would ask.
